We only ask for what we need to serve you well. Depending on how you interact with us, that may include:
Your name and contact details when you place a custom cake or party order
Your email address if you sign up to our Saturday newsletter
Basic order details, so we can bake the right thing at the right time
Standard website analytics, like which pages are visited, in a form that does not identify you personally
We do not take card payments on this website, so we never see or store your card details.
How we use it
Your information is used for a small set of clear purposes:
To take, prepare, and hand over your order
To reply to your enquiries and questions
To send our newsletter, but only if you asked for it
To understand which parts of our site are useful, so we can improve them

Who we share it with
We keep your information inside our own team wherever possible. The only times we share it are with trusted services that help us run the bakery, such as our email newsletter tool and delivery partners when you place a delivery order. Each of these only receives what they need to do their job.

We hold onto your information only as long as we need it. Order details are kept for our records and tax purposes. Newsletter sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any email we send.
